Meigs County is ideally situated to meet your business needs with transportation options on water, land and air.

Each year 222 million tons of cargo makes its way through Pomeroy on the Ohio River – more than the Panama Canal. The river allows easy barge access north to Pittsburg and south to the Gulf Coast.

Within minutes of I-77, Meigs County is also served by US 33 and US 50 – the Appalachian Highway – which provides the fastest access from Columbus to the southeast.

We are 90 minutes from major airports at Columbus and Charleston, West Virginia, half an hour from the Mid Ohio Valley Regional Airport at Parkersburg, West Virginia.
