Rural Meigs County has the big city benefit of a competitive labor pool at least 200,000 strong. The promise of good employment attracts skilled workers from throughout the region.

Meigs County labor, in particular, are hardworking individuals of which many come from families of miners and farmers. They are ethical and reliable. Currently 48 percent of these residents travel outside the county for work when they would rather eliminate that commute and find employment at home.

Another small town advantage is a low cost of living, which translates into affordable wages and tax rates far below those of metropolitan areas.

An abundance of world class training opportunities are made possible through our partnership with the University of Rio Grande and our proximity to Ohio University.
